Soap

It hasn't been long since Steve James released his first remix in months and now he is pushing out his next remix. This time he has remixed Melanie Martinez's track "Soap". It was already evident from his last remix that his sound had changed and this remix confirms the trend. The vibe is more laidback and less progressive. He has even included some elements of trap in his beat, which I believe is a first for Steve James. His remix is part of the official remix package for "Soap" and it's out now via Atlantic Records.

Up next is a remix of Midnight To Monaco's "Suicide" by Chicago based producer Wheatin. The vibe is very futuristic and also slightly hypnotic, with it's lush atmospheric synths. The track has a hint of Louis The Child influences about it, both in they way the vocal has been modified and the way the synth melody is triggered.
